“They are a 10/10!”

Gavin and his Team were a Godsend. We had bad luck with a shady Contractor before Gavin, that demolished our kitchen and bathroom due to extensive water damage. We were waiting for 3 months, living in a hotel with no repair work being done by the original Contractor to rebuild from the demo that water damage caused. After finding Murphy Builders (Gavin and his Team), things went from very bad to amazing very quickly. Gavin and his Team made us a priority immediately. They were very professional. Gavin walked our home with his Team, drew up a plan and started rebuilding within days. Gavin and his Team were on time all the time and met every schedule promised. Gavin did not take any shortcuts or at any time put forth an inferior product. All work was completed with total satisfaction, on time, and on budget. I could not recommend a better Team to take on any home project large or small. We currently are planning additional work with Gavin and his Team to improve some other areas of our property. Murphy Builders is an honest, caring, quality organization that has their customer’s best interest in mind. They are a 10/10!

Gavin and his team have been a pleasure to work with. They did a wonderful job with transforming the exterior of our old house.

Gavin was patient and professional, working within the timeline we needed for our project. Due to factors on our end, we ended up having to push it and slow it down and he was completely understanding and willing to work with us. He communicated well with us whenever there was a day they showed up early, or were coming at an obscure time.

He let us know what was happening, when, and even helped us understand better how the project worked. Overall a wonderful experience.

“Thorough and efficient”

Gavin and his team took on a big effort to remove a wall separating our kitchen and living room. Additionally they vaulted the ceiling in our kitchen to match the rest of the living area. This past winter, we hired Gavin to build an ‘in-law apartment’ in our kids’ basement for part of our retirement years. Gavin came out to our property to remove and rebuild our existing deck. Before choosing Gavin, we obtained quotes from 8 other contractors. Although Gavin was not the lowest quote, he was the best to work with. He assisted us with designing the color scheme, and used some creative ideas to make the deck appear larger (by rebuilding the corners and adding custom stairs). “Everything was left clean and organized”

Last summer Gavin remodeled our kitchen and part of a bathroom. Throughout both projects, he and everyone who worked with him were courteous and respectful. Each day everything was left clean and organized. We were working with a strict deadline, and Gavin made sure that everything was completed on time. Our kitchen was a full gut and redesign including a new layout featuring a large island. The kitchen and the bathroom both turned out great. We plan on hiring Gavin for future projects that we don't feel like tackling ourselves.

“Knowledge, flexibility and workmanship”

We were very pleased with Gavin from our first visit to the last. We had our bathroom completely redone (no more 1970s gold !). From the initial design of our new deck, through the permitting process and completion, Gavin took care of everything. Our new deck will allow my husband to get back to grilling, which had had not been able to do because he was unsteady on the stairs to the patio. Our deck was completed quickly and looks great. Murphy's Building & Remodeling just completed an amazing addition on my home. When this company was referred to me I told the owner, Gavin, that I had a budget and could not go over it and would he be able to work with me. The first thing he said was, Yes of course! He stayed within my budget. There were absolutely no hidden costs. What he quoted for the project was what I paid.

Gavin and his team started work in January 2018 when it was freezing out. They came every day regardless of the weather. I cannot say enough about the professionalism of this company. They cleaned up every day, they were always available for my many questions, they offered recommendations to add value to the project, they were willing to alter the original plan for enhancements we requested. His team, along with the plumber and electrician were a delight to work with.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to do enhancements to their home.
